1. Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer: Chaozhou Xiongwei Watch Industry Co., Ltd. (brand: XW Watch Parts), making watch buckles since 1996. Our factory covers about 10,000 m² in Chaozhou, Guangdong, China, with our own mold workshop and stamping, hydraulic forming and finishing lines.
2. What products do you make?
We make stainless steel pin/tang watch buckles in two series: stamped watch buckles and hydraulic watch buckles. We also supply watch strap accessories, spring bars/pins, and stainless steel adapters/connectors for Apple Watch (38–45 mm). More than 800 buckle styles are available in stock.
3. What is the difference between stamped and hydraulic buckles?
Stamped buckles are pressed from steel coil and give consistent dimensions and lower cost, suited to standard and lightweight strap buckles. Hydraulic buckles are formed under hydraulic pressure for thicker, stronger, more premium parts. We can help you choose the series that matches your strap and price level.
4. What sizes are available?
Sizes refer to the buckle-end inner width (the strap width at the buckle), not the lug width at the watch case. Depending on the model, inner widths range from 6 mm to 26 mm, with most models offered between 14 mm and 24 mm. Tongue (pin) options include 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm, hollow or solid, depending on the model.
5. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For many standard models, the MOQ is 50 pieces per model, size and finish. Some items have a higher minimum. Send us the model and specifications and we will confirm the exact MOQ.
6. Do you offer free samples?
Yes. Samples of existing in-stock styles are free. Custom designs require tooling and a prototype first; contact us to discuss the details.
7. How long does it take to make samples?
Samples are typically ready in about 1 week. Custom samples that need new tooling may take longer; we confirm the timing when we review your drawing.
8. What is the lead time for bulk orders?
Bulk lead time depends on the model, quantity and finish. Many styles are kept in stock in our 2,000 m² warehouse. Contact our sales team with your order details and we will confirm current stock and lead time.
9. What materials do you use?
Our buckles are made in 201, 304 and 316 stainless steel; material varies by model. 304 is the standard material for most quality buckles. 316 contains molybdenum, which gives higher resistance to seawater and acids, and is recommended for premium or diving applications.
10. What finishes and colors are available?
Finishes include mirror polish, brushed (hairline) and sandblasted. PVD colors include black, gold and rose gold, in addition to natural silver steel.
11. Can you make custom buckles with my logo (OEM/ODM)?
Yes. Our own mold workshop supports OEM/ODM buckle designs, logo options and size adjustments. Logos can be laser-engraved or embossed. The custom process is: inquiry and requirements → drawing or reference sample → tooling and prototype → pilot run → mass production → final QA → packing and shipment.
12. What certifications or test reports do you have?
Our SUS304 stainless steel material passed a RoHS test (Directive 2011/65/EU, Annex II as amended by (EU) 2015/863: lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium) by CPST – Eurones Products Testing, report No. C211026021004-1, dated 29 Oct 2021. For 316L stainless steel we can provide a steel mill EN 10204 3.1 product quality certificate (ASTM A240) showing chemical composition and mechanical properties. Contact us for copies or for material statements required by your market.
13. How do you control quality?
We apply three stages of inspection: IQC (incoming materials), IPQC (in-process) and FQC (final inspection). Checks include key dimensions such as inner width and hole placement, surface inspection, and sampling records.
14. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept T/T (bank transfer), PayPal and other common payment methods. Payment terms are confirmed with each order.
15. Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we supply strap makers and watch brands worldwide. We confirm the shipping method, lead time and tracking details for each order and destination; contact us for a shipping quote.
